Bioflex laser therapy at harbourside
Due to its growing body of evidence as a noninvasive treatment alternative for a wide-range of musculoskeletal conditions, Harbourside Physiotherapy is proud to offer BIOFLEX Laser Therapy to the North Island.
As is the case with all of our services, the first step is to determine if the use of laser therapy is an appropriate piece of your personalized treatment plan. Following your initial assessment, once your Physiotherapist has had a chance to get to know you and learn more about your current condition, they may recommend the use of the BIOFLEX Laser as an additional treatment modality to get you back to the things you enjoy.

about bioflex laser therapy
BIOFLEX Laser Treatment works by emitting therapeutic wavelengths of light through specific laser diodes or super luminous diodes. These photons penetrate deep into the tissues, stimulating cellular activity and promoting healing. The light energy absorbed by cells triggers physiological responses that enhance circulation, reduce inflammation, and accelerate tissue repair. This non-thermal, low-level laser therapy has been shown to have a positive impact on various biological processes, including collagen synthesis, pain modulation, and immune system regulation.
Conditions and questions
BIOFLEX Laser Therapy can be a great additional tool for most musculoskeletal issues, both acute and chronic. Please feel free to have a look at our Physiotherapy tab under our services page to see all of the conditions we can help with.

Are there any side effects?
Unlike most pharmaceutical solutions and other therapeutic options, laser therapy is non-toxic, non-invasive and in over one million individual treatments, no significant adverse effects have been noted.
