Kaitlyn grew up in Port McNeill and is excited to have returned after attending university. After
graduating from North Island Secondary School Kaitlyn attended the University of Alberta
where she completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology with a major in Physical Activity and Health.
Since completing her degree Kaitlyn has continued to complete additional training. To date she
has completed Jim Bilotta’s Soft Tissue Release course and obtained a Biomechanics Specialist
certification.
While attending university Kaitlyn also took part in a multitude of experiences that exposed her
to a variety of settings and learning opportunities. During this time, she worked with the
University of Alberta’s women’s hockey team, The Steadward Centre, University of Alberta’s
Varsity Health, and Acumen Clinic in Edmonton. Through these opportunities Kaitlyn has
worked with elite level athletes, individuals recovering from and preparing for joint
replacements and other surgeries, individuals living with impairment, workers rehabilitating
injuries and trying to return to their jobs, and people looking to improve their overall health
and fitness.
Kaitlyn believes that everybody deserves to feel supported on their health and fitness journeys.
She feels that ensuring individuals are getting comprehensive and unique treatment plans that
suit their personal goals, lifestyle, and abilities can empower the process that her clients are
going through. She looks forward to working with those on the North Island and surrounding
communities, and helping people to achieve their personal health and performance goals.
