What to expect
Initial visit: 30 or 60 minutes
The first appointment at Harbourside Physiotherapy and Health is our opportunity to get to know you, and what brings you in to see us. Our goal is to be as thorough as possible so you experience the best care.
Whether this is an acute or chronic issue, we want to make sure that any potential underlying contributors to your current state are also addressed when appropriate.
Once we have a clear picture of your past medical history we will begin our assessment which will focus on your movement and current level of function. From here, we work together to determine your goal(s) are, and a treatment plan that aligns with them.
Following the assessment your Kinesiologist will lay out all of our various treatment options, and which may be best suited to meet your needs.
Follow Up: 60 Minutes
Follow up appointments is where you treatment plan is implemented. The follow-up options we offer are as follows:

Semi-private personal training
If you are looking for a completely individualized plan to be more specific to your goal than what our group training offers, then this is the program for you. Enjoy the best of both worlds by doing your personalized plan in a small group setting (2-3 other people) at a more affordable price that our personal training.
Small-group circuit training
Small group circuit training is a great option for those looking for a quick workout with the perfect combination of both strength training and conditioning. Get expert coaching along with 2-3 other individuals as you work through the circuit. A great option for those with busy, unpredictable schedules.
Exercise program development
If you already have a private gym membership, or enjoy working out at home, but are looking for some general guidance with exercises or something more in depth to meet a specific goal this is a great option for you. Along with an initial assessment, you will get 3 follow up sessions to make sure you have mastered the exercises that have been prescribed.
One-on-one personal training
If you are looking for both an individualized training plan and one-on-one coaching in our clinic's gym space to make sure your program is done to perfection then this program is the one for you. Book this following your initial assessment to begin working with your trainer on your personalized plan.
ICBC Active Rehab
For those injured in a car accident that have an active claim, Kaitlyn is available to assist in your recovery through active rehabilitation.
