About guided exercise
Whether you are currently pursuing an athletic endeavor, or looking for some help just to get started, we can help with whatever your current exercise goal is. As with all of our services at Harbourside Physiotherapy and Health, a Guided Exercise session starts with an assessment. This is the best way to determine what your goal is, any previous injuries you may have, and to get a sense of what your current state is. The initial assessment will also include a look at some specific range-of-motion measures, and strength measurements to help guide exercise selection and monitor progress.
It is with this information that a plan can be developed for you that will provide the best opportunity for success. The plan will include exercises that are generally compound movements, likely to be tolerated by the patient, that utilize equipment available to the patient.
