icbc at harbourside
If you have been injured in an accident involving a motor vehicle, your Physiotherapist at Harbourside is here to help. Like all of our services, we want your care recovering from your accident to be the best it can be. That is why our first visit together will be an in depth medical history, to only only get a detailed understanding of the current incident, but also previous injuries that may influence recovery. Additionally, we want to be sure that any treatment we prescribe is safe, which is why any appropriate clinic testing will be performed when deemed appropriate by your Physiotherapist.
about icbc care
Once we have a better understanding of the severity of your injury, a care plan will be developed with you. Often times, the first step is to help provide relief to the most affected areas. As symptoms begin to resolve, and function improves your Physiotherapist may encourage more of an exercise-focused treatment approach. This would be similar to our guided-exercise program, with the goal being to provide exercise to help maintain the functional improvements attained along the way.
